Provides local OK.ru and VK video parsing with direct browser downloads for Cangify. Cangify Video Assistant works with the Cangify website to identify available media options from public OK.ru and VK pages and start direct downloads in Chrome. Supported VK hosts include vkvideo.ru, vk.com, and vk.ru. It supports quality selection, direct MP4 downloads, HLS downloads, batch links, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Parsing and downloading happen through the user's browser connection; Cangify does not proxy video files. When necessary, VK public embed metadata is read in a hidden Chrome offscreen document without opening a visible tab. The extension does not bypass login requirements, private access, payment restrictions, or DRM. Users should only save content they own or are authorized to download. Cangify is independent and is not affiliated with OK.ru, Odnoklassniki, VK, or VK Video.
