Send pages and selected text to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and more from the menu, shortcut, or omnibox. Ask This Page is a tiny handoff utility for the AI chats you already use: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and more. It turns the current page into a ready-to-ask prompt with no copy-paste and no new sidebar to learn. How it works 1. Right-click a page or text selection, then choose an AI target. If only one target is enabled, the handoff opens directly without a redundant submenu. 2. Use the toolbar icon or Alt+Shift+S for a quick handoff to your preferred AI. 3. Type `ask` in the address bar to hand off the current page, or type `ask your question` to send a custom question with the page reference. 4. Adjust your preferred AI, enabled targets, main and selection-specific prompt templates, and language in the Options page. What it sends Ask This Page sends the page title, URL, and any text you select to the AI target you choose, and for Gemini, into Google Search (AI Mode), where it is governed by that target's own privacy policy. It does not read or scrape page content on its own; only the title, URL, and the text you deliberately select are used when you start a handoff. Private by design - No backend server. No analytics.
