AI-powered form autofill. Your details stay in your browser; only field labels are sent for matching if you opt in. SmartFill is an AI form-filler for people who don't want their personal data sitting on someone else's server. Most autofill tools either (a) ship your address book to a third-party cloud, or (b) only fill the obvious fields and give up on anything custom. SmartFill does neither. It connects to a backend you control — self-hosted on your own machine, your homelab, or your own private cloud — and the AI runs there. Your name, address, phone, and any custom fields you save never touch SmartFill's servers. What it does Detects form fields on any page and fills them with the right values from your saved profile Handles non-obvious fields (custom labels, checkboxes, dropdowns) using a language model running on your backend Works on signup forms, checkout flows, job applications, government forms, anywhere Why it's different Your data, your infrastructure. The extension talks to a backend you run. We never see your form data or your saved profile. No tracking on PII. The only analytics we collect are anonymous, opt-in usage counts (how many fills, which pages errored). Never field values, never form contents. Open about what it sends.
