Automatically hide and block porn spam and financial scam/phishing accounts on X. XGuards is a browser extension that helps keep your X timeline and reply sections cleaner by detecting spam, scams, phishing attempts, and impersonation accounts. It checks visible posts and account information against synchronized protection rules and your own custom rules, then hides matching content directly in the browser. You can review hidden posts, allow trusted usernames, or hide matches completely without placeholders. When you choose to block an account, XGuards uses your current signed-in X session and processes actions through a rate-limited queue with configurable intervals and daily limits. Rules can evaluate display names, usernames, post content, profile bios, name similarity, and suspicious mentions. Y our settings, whitelist, custom rules, and block history are stored locally. XGuards does not upload your browsing history and downloads only rule data, never remote executable code.
