Private, offline-first bookmark manager Bookmar is a private, offline-first bookmark manager built to make saving and organizing the web feel simple again. No account. No analytics. No ads. Your bookmark library stays on your device, with optional passphrase encryption for added protection. Save pages with a click, organize them into folders, search your library, and let Bookmar automatically pull in useful page details like titles, images, descriptions, and favicons. Your bookmarks and folders are stored locally in your browser on your device. Optional **Encrypt my data (Beta)** protection encrypts your locally stored library using your passphrase. When enabled, exported backups are encrypted as well. There are: * No analytics * No tracking cookies * No ads * No crash-reporting services * No Bookmar account required Smart previews, on your terms: When you save a bookmark, Bookmar can automatically retrieve public information about the page, such as its title, description, image, and favicon. Bookmar first tries to use information already available from the page you have open. When necessary, it may contact the website or third-party metadata services using the URL you're bookmarking. Your bookmark library is never uploaded to a Bookmar server, and third-party metadata lookups can be turned off completely in Settings. Your bookmarks. Your device.
