Adds a red progress bar to watched YouTube Shorts thumbnails, so you can binge a channel's Shorts without losing your place. See exactly which YouTube Shorts you've already watched — without clicking into each one. ShortsTrack adds a red progress bar to every watched Shorts thumbnail, right in your normal YouTube feed — the Shorts shelf, a channel's Shorts tab, and search results. Bingeing a channel's back-catalog of Shorts no longer means rewatching the same ones over and over trying to remember what you've seen. HOW IT WORKS YouTube Shorts loop, so there's no "video ended" moment to hook into like a normal video. ShortsTrack tracks the furthest point you've reached in each Short — the same way YouTube's own watched-bar works for regular videos — and stores it locally, keyed to that Short's video ID. A full loop counts as fully watched, and a red "Viewed" badge appears once it does. No titles, thumbnails, or video content ever leave your browser. PRIVACY ShortsTrack doesn't collect, transmit, or sell any data. Watch progress is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local and never leaves your machine. The only network request ShortsTrack ever makes is a license-key check against Lemon Squeezy's license API, and only if you activate a Pro key — Free-tier use makes zero network requests.
