Description
Automatically remove empty ad containers and leftover gaps created by ad blockers. Hide Ad Spaces is a Chrome extension that cleans up the empty ad containers that most ad blockers leave behind. Instead of staring at awkward blank boxes where ads used to be, your pages become clean, readable, and easier to navigate. Many ad blockers remove the ad content but keep the original container. That leads to big gaps, broken layouts, and distracting empty spaces. Hide Ad Spaces fixes this automatically by scanning the page for common ad sizes, known ad-related classes, and containers with no visible content. When it finds them, it hides them in a clean way so the layout looks natural again. This extension is perfect if you already use an ad blocker and want your favorite sites to look more professional and less cluttered. Key features: Automatically hides empty ad containers left behind by ad blockers Detects common ad sizes and ad-related class names Removes visual gaps so websites look clean and polished Works on most news sites, blogs, forums and web apps Includes a simple on/off toggle in the popup Uses a MutationObserver to keep cleaning newly added elements How it works: Hide Ad Spaces runs in the background on each page and looks for empty ad containers. If a container has an ad-like size or class and no visible content, the extension hides it. A built-in MutationObserver keeps watching for new ad elements that appear while you scroll or interact with the page. You stay in control. You can enable or disable the feature at any time from the extension popup. Your preference is saved in Chrome sync storage so it follows you across devices. If you use an ad blocker and care about a clean, distraction-free reading experience, Hide Ad Spaces is the perfect companion extension.
