Prism – AI Website Audit & Inspector

Description

Audit accessibility, SEO, UX, performance and security. Inspect elements, extract design tokens and get AI-powered fixes. See your site through every lens at once Prism is an AI-native website inspector that lives in a single side panel — no tab-hopping between Lighthouse, axe, contrast checkers, and ChatGPT. Open any page, hit Alt+P, and get a workspace built for how you actually work: audit, inspect, chat, and extract design tokens without leaving the tab. Full-spectrum audits — on-device, in seconds Run a one-click audit and get a weighted Prism Score across: Accessibility — WCAG 2.2 contrast, labels, headings, alt text, and more SEO & AI visibility — meta, JSON-LD, canonical, viewport, structured data Performance — Core Web Vitals–adjacent heuristics UX — tap targets, legibility, Nielsen-style friction signals Security — HTTPS, mixed content, tabnabbing, form hygiene The engine is 100% rule-based and runs locally — no API key required. Add your key when you want AI-written summaries, prioritization, and fix suggestions. Track progress over time with audit history and diffs: see what improved, what regressed, and what’s still hanging around. An AI co-pilot that sees the live page Chat with an expert that doesn’t guess from memory. Prism’s co-pilot can query the DOM, highlight elements on the page, and re-run audits while it reasons — so answers are grounded in what’s actually rendered. Switch personas on the fly: Frontend Engineer WCAG Specialist AEO / GEO (AI search visibility) Nielsen UX Performance Engineer Design Systems Vision analysis captures the visible viewport and sends it to vision-capable models for layout, hierarchy, and visual a11y critique. Curated workflows chain multi-step investigations — Accessibility Deep-Dive, SEO & AI-Visibility Pass, Performance Triage — and stream results straight into chat. Inspect anything. Export everything. Inspect mode — click any element for selector, classes, computed styles, a11y role, dimensions, and outer HTML. One tap for AI Deep Analyze. Design tokens — reverse-engineer the live page into ranked colors, typography, spacing, and radii. Export as Tailwind v4 @theme or JSON. PDF reports — one click for a print-ready report: score, breakdown, AI summary, prioritized issues with fixes. Command palette (⌘K / Ctrl+K) — audit, vision, tokens, workflows, export, history. Everything searchable. Works where you work Side panel — docked beside the page DevTools panel — full Prism inside Chrome DevTools, scoped to the inspected tab Popup — quick audit + launch the full panel Your keys. Your provider. Your machine. Prism is bring-your-own-key. Heavy mode routes every AI call to your local model so nothing leaves your machine. Page data never leaves the browser except on explicit AI requests, which go directly from your browser to your provider. Settings and keys stay in chrome.storage.local. No telemetry. Audits work offline. AI features need your provider of choice. Built for builders Prism replaces a drawer full of fragmented tools with one cohesive inspector — fast rule-based analysis when you want facts, AI when you want judgment. Install. Open a page. Press Alt+P. See clearly.
