Pre-render conversation trimming for long ChatGPT threads. ChatGPT Convo Fixer (CCF) improves performance in long ChatGPT conversations while using a non-destructive approach that reduces the amount of data processed before rendering it's page. Instead of loading the full conversation history, it keeps a configurable number of recent exchanges and applies an adaptive text budget. This reduces lag, improves responsiveness, and lowers memory usage in long chats. Older messages are not permanently removed and can be restored at any time using built-in controls. All processing happens locally in the browser. No data is collected, stored externally, or transmitted.
