Save, organize, and restore tabs in a calm local workspace. Make room for what matters. Hoby turns your Chrome new-tab page into a calm workspace for saving, organizing, finding, and reopening tabs. Group links into spaces and colored collections, keep your current window beside your saved work, and capture a tab from the toolbar popup. Pick up where you left off • Save a single tab or an entire window. • Choose Save to keep your tabs open, or Save & close to clear the window after your links are safely stored. • Restore a collection without reopening URLs already open in that window. Keep your work easy to find • Organize links into spaces and collections. • Search saved and open tabs by title, URL, collection, or space. • Move and reorder with drag-and-drop or keyboard-accessible actions. • Undo recent changes and recover a previous workspace state. Your workspace stays with you • No account, subscription, backend, analytics, advertising, or telemetry. • Saved titles and URLs stay locally in your Chrome profile. • Export a JSON backup and import it locally. • Tab and favicon access is optional and requested when you enable capture. • No page-content access or browser-history permission. Hoby replaces Chrome’s default new-tab page. It supports system light and dark appearance and reduced motion. There is no cross-device sync: export a backup before changing profiles or uninstalling. Hoby is free and open source under the MIT License.
