Description
Hide Shorts, home videos, and sidebar suggestions on YouTube to stay focused and avoid distractions. Tired of getting distracted by YouTube recommendations and Shorts when you're just trying to learn or work? YouTube Focus Mode helps you take control of your YouTube experience by hiding content that often leads to endless scrolling or unintentional binge-watching. 🚫 What It Does YouTube Focus Mode gives you the power to hide: ✅ Videos on the YouTube Home Page Avoid algorithmic rabbit holes that pull you in the moment you open YouTube. Keep your homepage distraction-free. ✅ Shorts on the Home Page Say goodbye to endless scrolling of short-form content designed to steal your attention. ✅ Shorts in Search Results Even when searching for something specific, Shorts can be a tempting distraction. This option hides them from your search results. ✅ Related Videos Sidebar (while watching) Remove the "Up next" and sidebar video suggestions while watching — stay focused on just the video you opened. 🎯 Why Install This? YouTube is a fantastic platform for learning, tutorials, lectures, and research — but it's also packed with attention-grabbing distractions. This extension helps: 🧠 Boost focus and productivity during work or study ⛔ Avoid accidental procrastination when opening YouTube ✨ Clean up the visual clutter and reduce temptation 💻 Turn YouTube into a purposeful tool, not a time sink Perfect for students, developers, researchers, remote workers, and anyone trying to be intentional with their time. 🔧 Customizable Control Every feature includes a toggle switch — so you can enable or disable individual blocking options depending on your workflow. No need to completely block YouTube — just the parts that waste your time. 🌓 Dark Mode Support Includes a clean, minimal popup interface with Dark/Light mode toggle, and automatic theme detection based on your system settings. ⚙️ How It Works The extension runs in the background and dynamically hides or removes elements as the page loads or updates — no slowdown, no flicker. It’s lightweight and safe. 📦 No Tracking. No Ads. 100% Free. Your browsing is private. YouTube Focus Mode does not collect any personal data, track your activity, or inject ads.
