Lets NewMax control a Chrome tab only when you explicitly choose Chrome. NewMax Browser Bridge is the optional Chrome companion for the NewMax desktop app. It lets NewMax operate a Chrome tab when you explicitly choose the paired Chrome browser for a task. Key features: - Pair with NewMax through a loopback-only connection on your computer. - Use an existing signed-in Chrome tab or let NewMax open a task tab. - See Chrome's debugger notice whenever a tab is being controlled. - Release borrowed tabs without closing them; only task-created tabs may be closed automatically. - Disable the connection at any time from the extension settings. The extension does not run browser automation on its own. It requires the NewMax desktop app and a pairing token shown inside NewMax. The extension itself connects only to the NewMax app on `127.0.0.1` and contains no ads or remotely hosted code.
