Highlight any name and check similar EUIPO trademarks with Nice-class filters and match explanations. EUIPO Similarity Check helps trademark attorneys, brand managers, and founders quickly assess whether a name may conflict with existing EU trademarks — without leaving the page they’re on. WHAT IT DOES Select any word or phrase on a webpage, right-click, and choose “Check EUIPO similarity.” A side panel opens with ranked similar EUIPO marks. You can also type a mark directly into the panel. For each result you see: • Similarity score • Status and owner • Nice classes • Why it matched — lexical similarity, phonetic match, and class overlap • Quick links to open the mark in the web app or EUIPO eSearch Filter by minimum similarity, active vs all statuses, and optional Nice classes (for example 25 or 35) so you can focus on relevant goods and services.
