A simple timer with a green progress bar for tracking tasks and activities. 🌟 Green Stripe Timer — Your Personal Timer & Alarm in Chrome! 👋 Hi! My name is Alexander, and I’m excited to introduce my first Chrome browser extension — Green Stripe Timer! Have you ever noticed how quickly time flies? Have you forgotten to take a break or finish a task on time? Green Stripe Timer is designed to help you manage your time with maximum convenience! This is not just a timer — it’s an intuitive tool that provides visual and sound signals to alert you when your set time is about to end, keeping you focused and productive. ________________________________________ 🚀 Why is Green Stripe Timer the perfect timer? 🎨 Visual Progress Bar 🔹 A smooth color-changing bar that visually represents the passage of time: ✔️ Green — You’re at the beginning; everything is on track. ✔️ Mandarin Orange (50%) — A reminder to stay focused. ✔️ Red (80%) — A signal that time is almost up! 💡 This visual indicator helps you keep track of time without constantly checking the clock! ________________________________________ ⏳ Flexible Timer Settings 🔹 Set the timer in minutes or specify an exact end time (24-hour format). 🔹 Start and Stop buttons give you full control. 🔹 Pressing Stop turns off the timer, stops the melody, and removes the progress bar. Want to take a short break or set a deadline for the end of a work session? It’s easy! ________________________________________ 🔔 Smart Notifications — Never Miss a Deadline! Green Stripe Timer doesn’t just show time—it reminds you with sound when your time is up. 🔊 Choose your preferred notification type: ✅ A popup alert with a short sound (twice, 5 seconds apart). ✅ A relaxing melody (3 minutes and 34 seconds) to smoothly conclude your task. ✅ The ability to enable or disable sound notifications at any time, even while the timer is running. No need to keep checking the clock—the timer will alert you automatically! ________________________________________ 🎛 Full Customization to Fit Your Needs 🔹 Adjust the progress bar height from 0 px to 20 px (setting it to 0 px disables the bar). 🔹 The timer continues running even after restarting the browser. 🔹 Works on all tabs—active, background, pinned, and even refreshed ones. 🔹 Exception: The progress bar does not appear on Chrome system pages (chrome://extensions/ and other internal tabs). However, the timer itself still works. The timer stays with you, even if you close the browser or switch tabs! ________________________________________ 🔒 Security & Reliability Green Stripe Timer is designed with your privacy in mind: 🚫 No hidden data collection — everything is stored locally in your browser. ❌ No ads, no spam, no phishing — just pure functionality. 🔒 Built for the latest Chrome versions with Manifest V3, ensuring maximum security.
