Sync bank transactions, balances, holdings & receipts to Google Sheets, Notion & Airtable. 10,000+ US & Canada banks via Plaid. Stop entering transactions by hand. BankSync connects your real bank, credit card, and investment accounts directly to Google Sheets, Notion, and Airtable — then syncs everything automatically on your schedule. Connect once. Sync forever. Plans start at $7/mo after a free 14-day trial. Whether you're tracking personal spending, managing a small business, or building a custom financial dashboard, BankSync replaces manual data entry with a fully automated pipeline — from bank to spreadsheet in seconds. ➤ What is BankSync? BankSync is a Chrome extension that uses Plaid to securely connect to 10,000+ financial institutions across the United States and Canada. It automatically syncs your financial data — transactions, balances, investment holdings, trades, loans, and even receipts — directly into your existing tools. Unlike budgeting apps that lock you into their interface, BankSync is tool-agnostic. Your Google Sheet, Notion database, or Airtable base is the system of record. You own your data and your workflow. ➤ Key Features • Real Bank Connections — Connect checking, savings, credit cards, brokerage, retirement, and loan accounts from 10,000+ institutions across the US and Canada via Plaid • Multi-Platform Sync — Sync to Google Sheets, Notion, and Airtable (not just one tool) • Full Financial Data — Transactions, balances, holdings, trades, loans, and receipts — not just transactions • Automatic Scheduling — Set daily, weekly, or custom sync schedules. Set it and forget it • Auto-Categorization Rules — Build if/then rules to automatically categorize transactions (e.g., "if name contains STARBUCKS and amount > $5, tag as Dining Out") • Smart Memory — BankSync remembers your manual edits and replays them on similar future transactions using fuzzy matching • Transaction Alerts — Get email notifications when transactions match your conditions (large purchases, specific merchants, custom thresholds) • AI-Powered Document Extractor — Extract line items from receipts, invoices, and bank statements using AI. Upload or forward via email • Enrichments — Auto-enrich every transaction with merchant logos, clean names, categories, and more during every sync • Custom Field Mapping — Map any transaction field to any column in your spreadsheet or database • Pre-Built Templates — Start with professionally designed budget trackers, spending dashboards, and financial reports • Investment Tracking — Sync portfolio holdings, trades, and performance data alongside your bank transactions • Multi-Account Support — Connect unlimited bank and investment accounts across multiple institutions ➤ Supported Integrations • Google Sheets — Sync transactions, balances, and holdings directly into any spreadsheet you own • Notion — Push financial data into Notion databases for personal dashboards and budgeting systems • Airtable — Automate your Airtable financial tracker with real bank data • REST API — Build custom integrations with the BankSync API • MCP Server — Connect AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor to your live financial data ➤ How It Works 1. Install BankSync and sign in with your Google account 2. Connect your bank accounts securely through Plaid 3. Choose your destination — Google Sheets, Notion, or Airtable 4. Map your fields and configure enrichments 5. Set your sync schedule (daily, weekly, or manual) 6. Your financial data syncs automatically — transactions, balances, holdings, loans, and receipts appear in your chosen tool Setup takes less than 5 minutes. No coding required. ➤ Privacy & Security BankSync uses a pass-through architecture. Your financial data flows directly from Plaid into your chosen tool. We never store your transaction data on our servers. What we do: ✅ Connect via Plaid (bank-level 256-bit encryption) ✅ Authenticate via Google OAuth ✅ Encrypt all access tokens at rest ✅ Support Google Workspace accounts ✅ Process data in-transit only — nothing is persisted What we never do: ❌ Store your transaction data ❌ Store your banking credentials ❌ Share, sell, or monetize your financial data ❌ Track your spending behavior Privacy Policy: https://banksync.io/privacy Security Details: https://banksync.io/security ➤ Common Use Cases • Personal budgeting — Track spending across all accounts in one spreadsheet or Notion dashboard • Freelancer & contractor expense tracking — Automatically categorize business expenses for tax deductions • Small business bookkeeping — Sync transactions to Google Sheets or Airtable for lightweight accounting • Investment portfolio tracking — Monitor holdings, trades, and performance across brokerage accounts • Tax preparation — Export categorized transactions for your CPA or accountant • Subscription tracking — Spot recurring charges and forgotten subscriptions automatically • Household finance — Combine multiple family accounts into a single financial view • Receipt management — Extract and sync receipt data from emails and uploads • Content creator tax deductions — Track deductible equipment, software, and subscription expenses • Financial modeling — Pull real transaction data into spreadsheets for cash flow analysis and forecasting • Notion finance dashboard — Build a complete personal finance command center in Notion with real bank data • Google Sheets budget tracker — Automate your existing spreadsheet budget with live bank feeds ➤ Switching from Another Tool? BankSync is built for people who want control over their financial data without being locked into a proprietary app. Switching from Tiller Money? BankSync syncs to Google Sheets just like Tiller, but also supports Notion and Airtable. Plus you get investment tracking, receipt extraction, auto-categorization rules, and smart memory — features Tiller doesn't offer. Switching from YNAB (You Need A Budget)? BankSync gives you real bank data in your own spreadsheet instead of a closed budgeting app. Use your own formulas, your own layout, your own workflow. Switching from Monarch Money or Rocket Money? BankSync doesn't try to be a budgeting app — it gives you the raw data in the tools you already use. Build exactly the dashboard you want. Switching from Mint or Empower Personal Dashboard? Those tools track your data for you. BankSync puts your data where YOU want it — Google Sheets, Notion, or Airtable. Looking for a SheetLink alternative? BankSync supports more destinations (Notion, Airtable — not just Sheets), more data types (holdings, trades, loans, receipts), and includes enrichments, auto-categorization, and AI document extraction. Looking for a Bank2Sheets or Avery alternative? BankSync offers broader bank coverage (10,000+ institutions via Plaid), scheduled syncing, and a complete enrichment pipeline that goes beyond basic CSV imports. ➤ Bank Coverage BankSync connects to 10,000+ financial institutions across the United States and Canada via Plaid — including major banks, credit unions, brokerages, and fintech accounts.
