Stopwatch — Floating Timer for Every Tab

Description

A draggable, resizable stopwatch that stays in sync across every tab, with lap times and accurate background timing. Stopwatch is a clean, always-available floating timer that sits on top of your web pages no extra tab to keep open, no popup that disappears when you click away. Click the toolbar icon to show or hide it, then drag it anywhere on the page and resize it to fit your screen. Because there's a single shared stopwatch for your whole browser, it shows the exact same time on every tab and stays perfectly in sync as you move around. Time is tracked from a precise timestamp instead of a ticking counter, so it stays accurate even when a tab is in the background or your computer is busy. It also remembers everything your elapsed time, laps, position, and size so it's right where you left it next time you open your browser. Whether you're timing focused work sessions, tracking how long a task takes, timing workouts or study blocks, or running a quick lap timer, Stopwatch keeps a reliable count right where you can see it. Features: • One shared stopwatch across every tab, always in sync • Floating overlay you can drag anywhere and resize to any size • Lap timer with per-lap splits and running totals • Accurate background timing based on real timestamps • Show or hide instantly from the toolbar icon • "Freeze while Chrome is closed" option pause on close and resume on Start, or keep counting through • Remembers your time, laps, position, and size between sessions • Clean, unobtrusive design that stays out of your way • No account, no sign-in, and no data collection Stopwatch is lightweight and privacy-friendly: it only stores your timer state on your own device and never collects or transmits any personal data.
