Pinch to zoom and pan inside HTML5 video while in fullscreen. Browsers disable page zoom the moment a video goes fullscreen. Pinch on your trackpad and nothing happens. This extension gives that gesture back. Pinch to zoom into any HTML5 video while it's fullscreen, then pan around to follow the part you care about. Zoom out and you're exactly back where you started. HOW TO USE - Pinch on your trackpad to zoom, anchored wherever your pointer is - Two-finger scroll or click-drag to pan while zoomed - Press R to reset to 100% - Leaving fullscreen resets automatically WHAT IT'S GOOD FOR - Reading small text on a slide, spreadsheet, or code in a talk - Following a detail in a sports replay or a game stream - Getting a closer look at anything filmed too wide - Low-vision viewing, where the browser's own zoom is unavailable in fullscreen HOW IT WORKS Zoom runs in discrete stops, like your browser's own zoom control: 100, 110, 125, 150, 175, 200, 250, 300, 400%. Panning is clamped so the picture always covers the screen — you can't drag into black bars. Works with standard HTML5 video players across the web, including ones that keep their video inside a shadow root or rebuild it while you watch. PRIVACY No accounts, no analytics, no network requests, no data collection of any kind. Nothing is stored and nothing leaves your browser. No ads, and no ads later: the source is public so you can check any of this yourself. LIMITATIONS - Zooming magnifies decoded frames, so past roughly 2x on a 1080p stream the picture gets soft. That's inherent to zooming, not a bug. - A few DRM-protected sites composite video in a hardware overlay that ignores CSS transforms. It won't work there.
