Inspect searches, sources, answer links and brand mentions in your own ChatGPT conversations. Local processing only. Session Inspector analyses a single ChatGPT conversation from your own signed-in account and breaks it into four tables: - Searches — the exact search queries recorded in the conversation, with batch order and any site restrictions. - Sources — the search-result URLs returned, deduplicated per turn, with hostname and provenance. - Cited — structured references and the links that appear in the final answer, labelled separately. - Mentioned — brand and entity matches in the answer text, against a watchlist you configure. Every row has an expandable evidence and provenance section, so each figure can be traced back to the exact field it came from. Results can be exported as CSV, JSON, or a ZIP of all turns. How to use it: open a ChatGPT conversation and click the extension icon, and the report opens in a new tab. A DevTools panel and manual JSON import are also available. This is built for search-visibility and content research: it shows which queries were run and which pages were seen, not just a citation count. Privacy and data handling: - Everything stays on your device. There is no backend and no server belonging to this extension. - The only network requests are to chatgpt.com itself, inside your own signed-in tab, to retrieve the conversation you clicked on. Nothing is sent to any other destination. - No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party code, no remote code, no dependencies. - The retrieved conversation is held in in-memory session storage, deleted as soon as the report reads it, and cleared when the browser restarts. - Your watchlist is stored locally and can be reset at any time.
