Open Image Saver adds one thing to Chrome: a right-click menu that saves any image on any page as PNG, JPG, or WebP. Right-click an image, choose "Save image as", pick a format, and it downloads. That is the whole extension. WHY THIS EXISTS A popular image-format-saving extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store in 2026 after it changed hands and was updated to inject affiliate-fraud code into its users' browsers. Open Image Saver is a clean-room rebuild for the people left without a working tool — built, from the start, so that this cannot happen quietly again. BUILT FOR TRUST - 100% open source.
