Autosave and restore text typed into web forms. TextRescue Syntix helps you recover text typed into web forms when something goes wrong. Have you ever lost a long comment, message, or post because a page crashed, refreshed, or your session expired? TextRescue Syntix prevents this by automatically saving text you type into web forms and allowing you to restore it instantly. Key features: • Automatic local autosave of text typed into web forms • One-key restore for lost or deleted text • Version history for each text field • Works with text areas, input fields, and rich text editors • All data stored locally on your device • Strong encryption for saved content • No servers, no cloud sync, no tracking • Configurable exclusions for sensitive websites Privacy first: TextRescue Syntix does not send your data anywhere. All saved text is stored locally on your computer and never leaves your browser. There are no accounts, analytics, or remote services involved. Designed to be lightweight, reliable, and unobtrusive, TextRescue Syntix works quietly in the background and helps you recover your work when you need it most. TextRescue Syntix - Quick Start 1) Install the extension. 2) Type in a supported field (textarea, text-like input, contenteditable). 3) Wait ~1 second for autosave (min 5 chars by default). 4) Use hotkey Alt+Shift+R to restore text — either by clicking Restore (Alt+Shift+R) in the extension 5) Use History in the panel to pick an older version. Settings tips - Exclude a site if you do not want to save there. - Set a master password to lock/secure stored data. - Enable "Limit entries per site" and set a max to auto-delete oldest records. - Clear site data or all data in Settings when needed. Notes - Some pages (chrome://, Web Store, sandboxed iframes) do not allow extensions.
