Adds a Save GIF button to animated GIFs on X (Twitter) and exports them as real .gif files, ready to paste anywhere. X (Twitter) doesn't actually serve "GIFs" as GIF files — every animated GIF you see there is a silent, looping MP4 video. That's fine for scrolling the timeline, but it means you can't just save the file and drop it into Discord, Slack, or anywhere else that expects a real .gif. Twitter/X GIF Saver fixes that. Hover any GIF post on x.com or twitter.com and click the Save GIF button that appears on it. The extension pulls the underlying MP4, converts it to a genuine .gif entirely inside your browser, and saves it to your Downloads folder — ready to paste anywhere.
