Shows a LeaseHackr deal's real effective monthly cost on demand, computed by silently running LeaseHackr's own calculator. LeaseHackr's deal cards show the advertised monthly payment, but not what a lease actually costs you once fees, upfront cash, and residual value are factored in. This extension adds a "Get effective cost" button to every deal card. Click it and the extension quietly runs that deal through LeaseHackr's own calculator in the background and shows you the real numbers, right on the card: Effective monthly cost, with a quick ✓/! check against the classic "1% rule" (customizable in Settings) Monthly payment with tax included APR, converted from the deal's money factor Total cost over the lease You can also set your home ZIP code so effective cost is calculated using your own local tax rate instead of the dealer's, and pick which 3 numbers show up on the badge. Nothing is computed until you click — no background tabs open on their own, and no data is ever collected or sent anywhere except to LeaseHackr's own calculator and a free ZIP-to-tax-rate lookup.
