Export your ChatGPT conversations to Markdown, HTML, JSON, TXT or PDF. GPT Exporter is an open-source Chrome extension that lets you export complete ChatGPT conversations or individual messages in Markdown, HTML, PDF, JSON, or plain text. It preserves important elements such as code blocks, tables, lists, images, citations, timestamps, tool outputs, and formatting, even in very long conversations that have not been fully loaded on screen. The extension follows the active conversation branch, so edited questions and regenerated answers are handled correctly. It adds native-looking export buttons directly inside ChatGPT, supports light, dark, and OLED themes, saves your preferences, and allows you to download a file or copy a single response directly to the clipboard. Everything is processed locally in your browser without sending conversations to a third-party server. GPT Exporter is written in TypeScript, distributed under the MIT licence, available in English and French, and designed to make saving, sharing, archiving, and reusing ChatGPT content fast and simple.
