Control the volume of videos on a per-tab basis. Introduction This extension is designed to give you complete control over your web browser's audio experience. Have you ever been inconvenienced by the original volume being too low in streaming service movies, online lectures, or user-generated content? Or have you experienced the hassle of constantly adjusting the volume because the sound level was different for each tab you had open? Video Volume Controller solves all these problems. It is a powerful and intuitive tool that allows you to independently adjust the sound of each browser tab and amplify it up to 300% of the standard output as needed, without touching the overall system volume. Create a consistent and pleasant sound environment on all websites, including YouTube, Netflix, and Twitch. Key Features 1. Up to 300% Volume Boost Exceeding the 100% limit of standard volume, it amplifies the audio output up to 300%. This feature is especially useful when watching videos with poor original recording quality, or when you need to view content in a noisy environment. You can hear even subtle dialogues or background sounds clearly without missing them. 2. Individual Per-Tab Volume Control It manages each browser tab like an independent audio channel. For example, you can play music in one tab at a low volume of 30% while watching a lecture video in another tab at a high volume of 150%. The settings for each tab are saved individually, making it very efficient when performing multiple tasks simultaneously. 3. Per-Site Volume Setting Memory The extension automatically remembers the volume value you set for a specific website. If you set YouTube to always be at 120% and a news site to 80%, the previously set volume will be automatically applied the next time you visit those sites. The settings are maintained even after restarting the browser, so there is no need to readjust every time. 4. One-Click Apply to All Tabs You can instantly apply the volume setting of the currently active tab to all open tabs with a single click. This is a time-saving feature useful when you need to suddenly lower the volume of all tabs or want to unify them to the same volume. 5. Precise and Intuitive Controller The popup window that appears when you click the extension icon is designed for ease of use. You can visually adjust the volume via a smooth slider or set it precisely by directly entering a value from 0 to 300 in the number input field. It also provides preset buttons for frequently used volume values (e.g., 0%, 50%, 100%, etc.) to enhance operational convenience. Reasons to Use This Extension 1. Listen to All Content Clearly You can clearly hear small sounds that were previously hard to listen to, such as quiet dialogue scenes in movies, low-quality online lectures, and user-generated videos. You no longer need to rely solely on subtitles or struggle to concentrate to hear the audio. 2. Build a Personalized Sound Environment You can optimize the volume of each website according to your work environment and preferences. By setting the audio for background music, work-related videos, and social media feeds to different levels, you can create an environment where you can focus solely on the desired task without being disturbed by unnecessary sounds. 3. Hearing Protection from Sudden Noise It prevents the experience of being startled by a sudden increase in volume from auto-playing ads or the next video. By maintaining a consistent volume level, it reduces stress from unexpected loud noises and has the long-term effect of protecting your hearing. 4. Increased Work and Learning Efficiency It is particularly useful for researchers, students, and developers who need to reference multiple materials simultaneously. By adjusting the audio levels according to the importance of each information source, it helps in prioritizing information and maintaining focus even in a complex multitasking environment. How to Use 1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. 2. Pin the extension icon to the browser toolbar for easy access. 3. On a webpage where audio is playing, click the icon on the toolbar. 4. Use the controller in the popup window to adjust the volume for that tab as desired.
