Companion to justdropthebeat.com. Automates beat uploads to BeatStars and TrakTrain by filling in track details and files. Just Drop The Beat — BeatStars Upload Automation The companion Chrome extension for justdropthebeat.com. This extension automates the BeatStars upload form so producers can publish tracks from the Just Drop The Beat dashboard without filling out BeatStars manually every time. This extension only works when used alongside justdropthebeat.com. You sign in on the web app, trigger an upload, and the extension takes over the BeatStars tab to fill in your track details and files for you. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW IT WORKS Sign in at justdropthebeat.com and connect your BeatStars account. Upload your beat to the Just Drop The Beat dashboard with your metadata: title, BPM, key, genre, mood, tags, description, and artwork. Start an upload. The extension opens a BeatStars tab, fills in every field for you, attaches your audio and artwork, and submits. You confirm the final publish step on BeatStars and you're done. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES ▸ Automates BeatStars uploads Fills in title, tags, genre, mood, BPM, key, description, artwork, samples, and price on the BeatStars upload page. You stay in control and hit publish when you're ready. ▸ Works with your own BeatStars account The extension drives the real BeatStars upload page inside your signed-in browser session. Your credentials never leave your machine. ▸ Pairs with the Just Drop The Beat web app All metadata, templates, and track files come from the justdropthebeat.com dashboard. The extension is the piece that automates the browser side of the BeatStars flow. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT THE WEB APP ADDS These features live on justdropthebeat.com, not in the extension itself, but they work together: ▸ Multi-platform distribution via official APIs Publish the same beat to YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and Instagram Reels. Those uploads are handled by the web app over each platform's API, not by this extension. ▸ Custom upload flows Build reusable workflows like "BeatStars then YouTube" and reuse them every release. ▸ Template variables Auto-fill metadata with variables like {{file_title}}, {{file_bpm}}, {{file_key}}, and pull outputs from earlier steps (for example, drop your BeatStars link into a YouTube description automatically). ▸ Platform-specific overrides Set YouTube privacy and category, BeatStars price and license type, TikTok privacy, and more from a single upload form. ▸ Real-time job tracking Watch each upload move through pending, processing, complete, or failed, with live status updates in the dashboard. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHY PRODUCERS USE JUST DROP THE BEAT ✓ Skip the BeatStars upload form forever ✓ Keep metadata consistent across every storefront ✓ Cross-link platforms automatically (BeatStars link in your YouTube description, etc.) ✓ Focus on making beats, not filling out forms
