Capture, crop, and annotate screenshots at full resolution, then copy or save them locally. MarkupMint is a fast, privacy-friendly and powerful screenshot editor that works entirely on your computer. Click the toolbar button to capture the visible browser tab at its original pixel dimensions. Crop the image, mark it up, then save it directly to a selected local folder, show a Save As dialog, save through Chrome Downloads, or copy the result to the clipboard. Key features: - Capture the visible tab at full resolution - View screenshots at 100% or fit them to the editor - Crop any area or select the full captured image - Draw smooth freehand pen strokes - Add rectangles, arrows, and text in different sizes - Choose annotation color and stroke width - Undo annotations before saving - Save as lossless PNG or compact JPEG - Configure a filename pattern using date, time, page title, or timestamp - Save directly to a browser-approved local folder - Choose “Always ask” when you prefer a Save As dialog - Return automatically to the captured source tab after saving Private by design: MarkupMint has no accounts, advertisements, analytics, trackers, or cloud upload service. Screenshots and preferences remain on your device. The extension does not request access to every website, cookies, browsing history, or Dropbox credentials. “Full image” means the complete visible browser viewport. The extension does not stitch content below the fold into a scrolling-page screenshot. The Settings page contains an optional, user-initiated link for supporting continued development through PayPal. The extension remains fully functional and completely free whether or not a user chooses to contribute. PayPal, not Google or MarkupMint, processes any payment.
