Query, inspect and edit Salesforce records with SOQL/SOSL, bulk-load data from a file, and explore schema, events and logs. Salesforce Query Chains is a developer tool for the org you're already signed into. Open it on any Salesforce tab and it picks up the org and the record in front of you. No setup, no connected app to configure, nothing to type — it runs on the session you already have. Orgs locked down to approved apps sign in with one click instead. Works the same against sandboxes, Developer Editions and production. 🔍 QUERY • SOQL and SOSL with autocomplete, inline schema hints and a query-plan preview • Results in a virtualised table — sort, filter and drill into any record • Export to CSV, XLSX or JSON • Bulk API 2.0 for large extracts, with Id-keyset chunking for the objects that would otherwise time out ⚙️ DEV CONSOLE • Run Anonymous Apex and read the debug log beside the script that produced it — the log's own highlighting, SOQL and DML counts, and logged structures drawn as a tree instead of a wall of text • Every script tab runs on its own, so a long run never blocks the next one • Call the org's REST API, a Named Credential, or any external host — the last two are issued by Salesforce itself, so the extension needs no permission to reach the open web • Compose requests the way you already know — params, headers, body, variables — then copy the whole thing out as cURL, Apex or Node • Explore GraphQL against a browsable schema, or build a query without writing any GraphQL.
