Local PDF Studio is a free PDF editor, annotator and viewer that runs entirely inside Chrome. Every file stays on your device: nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked, and it works without an internet connection. Most "free online PDF editors" send your documents to a server. Contracts, medical records, tax forms and signed agreements end up on someone else's machine. Local PDF Studio takes the opposite approach: the whole editor lives in the extension, so your PDFs never leave the browser. The optional "Use Studio for all PDFs" setting requests site access only when you switch it on, and uses it only to fetch the PDF you clicked. Revoke it any time from chrome://extensions and the feature turns itself off.
