Render Markdown locally in a full-page preview or export it as PNG, JPG, and SVG images. Markdown to Image is a focused Chrome extension for turning Markdown into polished, shareable images and full-page previews without uploading documents to a developer-operated service. WHAT IT DOES - Type or paste Markdown directly into the extension. - Upload or drag Markdown and text files. - Export rendered content as PNG, JPG, or SVG. - Copy a generated PNG image to the clipboard. - Open Markdown in a full-page preview with an automatic table of contents. - Print the full-page preview or save it as PDF. FREE AND LOCAL Every feature is free with no usage limit. There is no account, subscription, payment, license key, advertising, or analytics. Markdown, uploaded text files, rendered HTML, generated images, and temporary preview content are processed locally on the user's device. The extension does not upload document content to a developer-operated server. Clipboard access occurs only after the user selects Paste or Copy Image. If a Markdown document contains an externally hosted image, Chrome may request that image from its original host so it can be displayed or rendered.
