Description
Capture webpages or selected regions with custom aspect ratios, quality, and resolution limits. AspectSnap is a professional-grade screenshot utility designed for designers, developers, and creators. It allows you to take pixel-perfect snapshots of full webpages, viewports, or custom rectangular selections with advanced layout constraints. Key Features: • Aspect Ratio Locks: Enforce 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:2, or 21:9 constraints dynamically while drawing selections. • Smart Export Dimensions: Specify a target width or height and let the extension proportionally scale the image. • Dimension Mode Options: Choose between scaling any selection size to fit your target export dimensions, or using a "Fixed capture window" to capture an exact size centered region (no resizing needed). • Dimension Locking Safeguard: Restricts Viewport and Full Page export settings to width OR height only, protecting captures from aspect ratio distortion. • High-Performance Formats: Export directly to WebP, PNG, or JPG formats. • Quality Controls: Tweak compression sliders (from 10% to 100%) to optimize file size. • Smart Scroll-and-Stitch: Automatically scroll through long webpages, convert sticky/fixed elements so they are captured exactly once at the top, and compile them into a single high-definition image. • Direct Copy to Clipboard: Copy snapshots directly to your clipboard for instant pasting into Slack, Figma, Discord, or Word. • Preserves Save As Folder Memory: Intelligent delegated download flows trigger the native Save As dialog while correctly remembering your previously selected folder (e.g. "xyz") instead of resetting to the default Downloads folder. • Rate-Limit Throttling: Respects Chrome's system screenshot limits, allowing captures on extremely long pages without crash events. • Modern Theme support: Clean, responsive layout that automatically adapts to Light or Dark modes. How to use it: 1. Open the extension popup from your toolbar. 2. Select your capture mode (Viewport, Selection, or Full Page). 3. Set your constraints, format, compression, and output size. 4. Click "Capture Screen" (or press Alt+Shift+S for quick selection capture). 5. Draw your selection (if using Selection mode) and hit Snap! Privacy Note: All image processing, cropping, and compression happen entirely locally within your browser using modern Web APIs. AspectSnap does NOT collect, store, or transmit any user data or webpage content off-device.
