Interrupt mindless scrolling with local, progressive dimming instead of hard blocking websites. DoomDimmer helps interrupt mindless scrolling without blocking the web. Instead of preventing access to distracting sites, DoomDimmer watches for rapid, continuous passive scrolling patterns locally in your browser. When scrolling appears automatic, it progressively fades the page toward grayscale and blur. If scrolling continues, DoomDimmer asks you to type a short reflection phrase before restoring the page.
