Description
Tree-style tabs, browsing trails, spotlight search, action palette, and a powerful side panel. Modernize your Chrome. Stop losing tabs. Tabs at a Glance is a productivity toolkit that gives you instant control over every browser tab through a Spotlight-style command palette, hierarchical side panel with browsing trails, visual grid overlay, and smart tab markers. - COMMAND PALETTE Spotlight-style tab switcher with real-time fuzzy search across all open tabs, bookmarks, and history. Type "/" to access 30+ built-in actions including close, mute, pin, split view, group tabs, tile windows, and more. Configurable keyboard shortcut — default: Cmd+Shift+K (Mac) / Ctrl+Shift+K (Windows/Linux). - ACTION MODE Jump straight into commands without typing a search query first. Mute noisy tabs, manage workspaces, split windows, group tabs, and navigate your browser faster — entirely from the keyboard. Default shortcut: Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P. - TRAILS See your browsing as connected trees instead of isolated tabs. Every link you click builds a visual trail you can retrace. Branch off, backtrack, and pick up where you left off. Share trails as HTML or keep them privately on your device. - SIDE PANEL A full browser control center inside Chrome's native side panel, with five views: Tabs (hierarchical window-to-tab tree), Trails (browsing history trees), Bookmarks, History, and Workspaces. Includes real-time updates, drag-and-drop reordering, batch actions, search and filter. Default shortcut: Cmd+Shift+. / Ctrl+Shift+Period. - GRID OVERLAY Full-screen visual thumbnail grid overlaid on any page. See all your open tabs at a glance with environment-colored borders, window grouping, and keyboard navigation. Default shortcut: Cmd+Shift+, / Ctrl+Shift+Comma. - WORKSPACES Save groups of tabs across one or multiple windows and restore them later. Three open modes: replace current window, open in new windows, or open as a tab group. Window-aware editor with cross-window drag-and-drop. Share workspaces as JSON or HTML, import from file or pasted text. Organize by project, context, or workflow. - CUSTOM NEW TAB PAGE A fast, minimal new tab page with unified search across tabs, bookmarks, and history. Two themes: Classic (adaptive to your color choice) and Glance (signature indigo). Fully keyboard-first — every feature reachable without the mouse. - VISUAL TAB MARKERS Five indicator types to visually distinguish tabs: favicon overlays (dot, ring, tint, letter, emoji), title prefixes, colored page bars, corner badges, and extension badges. Powered by a flexible rule engine with seven URL matching strategies. - UNIFIED SEARCH Search across open tabs, bookmarks, and browsing history in a single interface. Results are deduplicated and ranked by relevance, recency, and frequency. - DEV SNAPSHOT Capture a full debugging snapshot of any tab — including screenshots, console logs, network requests, DOM, performance metrics, storage, and cookies. Designed for developers who need to document or share browser state quickly. - PR FOCUS MODE FOR GITHUB Review pull requests faster: hide test, fixture, and documentation diffs behind compact cards you can preview and reopen anytime, collapse comment-only lines with an adjustable slider, and see which files carry the real weight of each PR — highlighted right in the file tree with smart importance tiers. Pin important lines with notes and colors, and jump back to them from a floating minimap. Everything is reversible and a badge always shows what is hidden. Off by default — enable it in Options when you want it. - LIGHT AND DARK MODE Automatically adapts to your operating system theme. Premium dark UI with a modern glassmorphism design language. - PRIVACY No data collection. No analytics. No ads. No tracking. Everything stays on your device.
