Dopamine Delay is a browser extension designed to help you slow down before making online purchases so you can make better decisions, reduce regret, and feel more in control of your money. Why it exists: Most online shopping experiences are designed to make you buy fast. Countdown timers. Limited stock alerts. One-click checkout. Key features - Smart checkout pause: Detects when you're about to complete a purchase and introduces a gentle interruption. - Delay your decision : Save items to review later instead of buying on impulse. - Dopamine alternatives: Access quick activities designed to satisfy the urge to act without spending. - Reward system: Earn points and build streaks for every pause you take. - Personal dashboard: Track your pauses, money saved, and progress over time. - Dark pattern awareness (Pro): Highlights common pressure tactics used by retailers so you can spot them in real time.
