It's low-contrast and sits well back, so you notice it the way you notice a poster on a wall you walk past every day — not while you're reading, just in the corner of things. Free, no ads. Pia There's a small face that hangs by a thread in the top corner. Pull her and the background shuffles. And every so often — usually right after you've read an answer and clicked into the box to reply — she says one word: "Source?" Or "Verify it." Or "Could be a hallucination." It's aimed at the AI, not you. She's the part of you that knows the confident answer isn't always the right one. If that's not your thing, she has a quiet mood where she just sits there, or you can switch her off and keep the wallpaper. What's on the wall By default it says "think aesthetically." You can replace that with whatever line you want to look at all day. Or pick a thought experiment — Schrödinger's cat, a brain in a vat, the trolley problem — drawn as a rough sketch. Or shuffle to a photo from a pool of public-domain images that refreshes every week or so. Or use your own picture: crop it how you like, and your last three stay one click away. Whatever you upload stays on your machine. Ink or Color Ink is a pencil-grey sketch. Color is the same lines in a soft, muted palette that changes with the image — no neon, nothing that fights the page. Both run light; on a dark page the doodle bows out and only Pia stays. The off switch is a real off switch — flip it and there's nothing there at all. There's also a slider if you want the doodle fainter or stronger. Privacy No server.
