Rendemo captures the visual recording and the interactions needed to build a guided, step-by-step experience. • Record a browser tab or a Chrome window • Capture clicks, navigation, cursor movement, and product states • Preserve a video recording for overlays and visual elements • Send completed recordings straight to your Rendemo workspace • Create interactive demos, videos, and live guides from one recording • Review, redact, edit, brand, and publish from Rendemo CAPTURE A SITE INTO A SANDBOX DEMO (CREATOR ROLE) Some demos start from a site rather than a recording. Open the popup on any site you are signed into, choose "Capture pages for a sandbox demo", and click "Capture this page" as you browse - each page you capture becomes part of a hosted, clickable sandbox replica. Working with an AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, and others via the Rendemo plugin)? Paste the capture code it gives you and it will finish building the demo when you are done. • Capture the pages you choose, signed in as yourself - credentials never leave your browser • Join a capture session started from an AI chat with a one-line code • Finish from the popup and the sandbox builds in your Rendemo workspace COMMON USE CASES • Employee enablement on internal and third-party tools • Customer onboarding and product education • Help-center walkthroughs and support answers • Team, customer, and partner training • Product showcases and sales follow-up • Feature announcements and release education HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in to Rendemo and connect the extension to your workspace. 2. With Viewer access, open the extension on any page to search and follow your team's published guides. 3. With Creator access, you can also record (pick a tab or a Chrome window and walk through the workflow) or capture pages into a sandbox demo as you browse a site. 4. Stop the recording and send it to your Rendemo workspace. 5. Review the generated steps, improve the guidance, and publish as an interactive demo, a video, or a live guide. ROLES Access is granted in Rendemo by your workspace, not by the extension. Viewers can find and follow published guides. Creators can also record new workflows. Recording permissions are requested only the first time a Creator records - a Viewer is never asked for screen-capture access. PRIVACY AND CONTROL Rendemo does not continuously record your browsing. Recording begins only after you choose a source and press Record. A visible recording state is displayed while capture is active. The extension does not record your microphone or camera at all, and never asks for access to either. Following a guide does not record anything. The extension reads the page only to locate the element a step refers to, and displays guidance over it. Rendemo never fills in fields or clicks on your behalf - every action is yours. Connected captures upload to your Rendemo workspace when you stop recording. Manual captures remain on your device until you choose Send to Rendemo or export the files. Sandbox capture uploads only the pages you explicitly capture, one click per page, to your own workspace. Your session stays in your browser - no cookies or credentials are ever sent to Rendemo.
