Capture tab audio, pause and resume, and save high-quality WAV files. Private, local, and beautifully simple. Worth a listen. Yours to keep. Still is a simple audio recorder for your Chrome tabs. Capture audio playing on a website, pause when you need a break, and keep the result as a stereo WAV file. • Start recording from the extension popup. • Pause and resume without including the paused audio. • Keep recording while the popup is closed. • Record multiple tabs independently, with a separate recording for each tab. • Preview, download, and delete recordings in your local library. • Export stereo, 16-bit PCM WAV at 48 kHz. • Recover previously saved audio after an interrupted session. Your audio stays on your device. Still saves recordings and their tab titles in your local Chrome profile. There are no accounts, uploads, analytics, or ads. Delete recordings from the library whenever you want; downloaded files remain yours to manage separately. How to use: 1. Open a website playing audio and click Still's toolbar icon. 2. Click Start recording. 3. Pause or resume as needed. 4. Click Stop & save, then Download WAV from the library. 5. To add another recording, open Still on another tab and start it there. Still records audio playing in the selected tab. It does not record your microphone or other apps. Chrome internal pages and some protected media cannot be captured. There is no artificial recording timer, but available storage, browser resources, and WAV's roughly 4 GB file limit apply. Chrome 116 or newer is required.
