Save pages to BruteBookmarks from any tab, with or without an account. BruteBookmarks Quick Save Use BruteBookmarks as your flexible bookmark dashboard, and save pages to it without breaking your flow. Quick Save works with a free synced account, and it also works locally with no account after BruteBookmarks has been opened once in local mode. Organize bookmarks into categories, group categories into tabs, and rearrange everything with drag and drop. Your call. PRIVACY BruteBookmarks does not run ads. It does not track you. It does not sell your data. It does not analyze your bookmarks. When used locally, your data never leaves your browser. When you sign in to sync, your bookmarks are transmitted over an encrypted connection to Convex Cloud and are only accessible to your account. Authentication is handled by Clerk. You can export all your data as JSON at any time, and delete everything with one button. PERMISSIONS - WHY WE NEED THEM • “Active tab” - Reads the current tab’s URL and title only when you click the extension icon to save a bookmark. • “Storage” - Stores your bookmark data and preferences locally on your device. • “Read your bookmarks” - Used only when you choose to import Chrome bookmarks into BruteBookmarks. • “Connect to convex.cloud” - Syncs your bookmark data across devices via an encrypted connection when you’re signed in.
