Zoom, pan and rotate any image, see thumbnails at full size on hover, and get a real viewer on Reddit, X, Instagram and 600+ sites. Bellevue replaces Chrome's bare image viewer with one built for looking closely, then brings that same viewer to the sites where you actually look at images. THE VIEWER Open any image in Chrome and you get a viewer instead of a picture on a white page. • Zoom with the mouse wheel, towards the cursor. Click to switch between fit-to-window and actual size. Drag to pan. • Rotate, flip, pixelate, or put a checkered background behind transparent images. • Hide the scrollbars. Pick a solid background color or a blurred copy of the image. Choose the zoom level and position every image opens at. • Smooth animations, and the image stays inside the window unless you tell it not to. HOVER ZOOM Hold Alt and point at any thumbnail to see it at full size in a popup beside the cursor. Let go and it is gone. Prefer no key at all? Switch it to show on plain hover. HOVER OPEN Tap Ctrl over any image to open it in the viewer, resolved to the full-size original. Tap again to close it. FULL-SIZE IMAGES ON 600+ SITES Sites show you a compressed preview and hide the original. Bellevue knows where the original lives on more than 600 sites, from social networks and art communities to image hosts, online shops and image search. Hover zoom, hover open and the right-click "View image in current tab" menu item all give you the real file, not the thumbnail. BUILT INTO THE SITES YOU USE • Reddit: images and galleries open full-screen, without the header, footer or scrollbars, and stay that way at any zoom level. The arrow keys step through a gallery. • X and Pixiv: the same viewer replaces the site's own. • Instagram and Pinterest: images and profile pictures load at full size in place, and right-click works again on Instagram. • Image hosting sites: straight to the full-size file, no "continue" button. YOURS TO SET UP Every mouse and keyboard binding can be changed, every site integration can be switched off, and Chrome's own wheel behavior is one setting away if you prefer it.
