Privacy-first, on-device AI second brain for ADHD freelancers Mindrail is a privacy-first Chrome sidepanel that helps you recover focus and continue your current browsing task. Use Mindrail when you lose the thread, feel blocked, or need a calmer way back to your next step. Open the sidepanel, press I’m Frozen for one small restart action, park a distracting thought before it pulls you away, or use reading and focus tools to make the current page easier to handle. Mindrail is designed to reduce friction without turning your browser into another noisy dashboard. What Mindrail helps with: Recover from stuck moments with one small visible step. Park distracting thoughts without abandoning your current task. Return to recent Mindrail recoveries, saved destinations, and next actions. Reduce visual noise with Clean Mode on supported pages. Create a calm skim map for readable pages with Reading Rail. Use focus tools such as timers, body double support, and gentle restart nudges. Review focus patterns without shame, scoring, or medical labeling. Privacy-first by default: Mindrail is built to work local-first. Core focus tools store your tasks, parked thoughts, recovery history, and focus state in Chrome local extension storage. Mindrail does not sell your data. Mindrail does not use your data for advertising. Telemetry controls are available in Settings. AI controls are separate from telemetry controls. Optional AI support: Mindrail can be used without AI. Optional AI support is available only when you enable it. Depending on your settings, Mindrail may support local logic, a user-provided AI key, or Mindrail Cloud AI. When an AI mode is enabled and you use an AI-powered feature, Mindrail sends only the context needed to create the requested suggestion. This may include recovery text, Brain Dump text, selected task context, recent Mindrail activity summaries, page summaries, page metadata, or current-page context. Cloud visual recovery, when enabled, may send a screenshot of the current tab only after you explicitly request visual recovery, such as by pressing I’m Frozen. You can control page summaries, memory summaries, Cloud AI, visual recovery, and telemetry in Settings. Free and Pro: Mindrail includes a free local-first experience. Optional Pro features may include deeper guided workflows, Cloud AI support, Focus Session, and memory-based recovery patterns. Free and Pro features are labeled in the extension before use. Mindrail is a focus and recovery tool, not a medical or health product. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or medically manage ADHD or any health condition.
