Optionally add your local time to Gemini prompts (off by default), and navigate long chats with an interactive timeline. ChronoNav: Navigate Long Gemini Chats with a Visual Timeline You know the answer is somewhere in this chat. You just can't find it again. That's why I built this. I kept scrolling back through 80-message Gemini threads looking for one thing I'd already been told. ChronoNav puts a small timeline on the right side of the conversation so you can click straight to any message instead of scrolling. ✨ What it does 🚇 Timeline Navigation Every message you send becomes a node on a subway-map-style timeline — like a table of contents for your conversation. Click one to jump there. Previous/next buttons let you step through the conversation, and the timeline tracks where you are as you scroll. 🎨 Stays out of the way A thin sidebar that matches Gemini's light and dark themes. No dashboard, no account, no setup — it works the moment you open a chat. The whole extension is a 45KB download. 🕒 Time Context (optional, off by default) If you turn it on, ChronoNav adds your local timestamp and numeric UTC offset to the prompt you send — handy when you're asking Gemini about deadlines, schedules, or "how long ago was that". No city name, no location, no account data. Minute or second precision, your choice. It stays off unless you enable it. 🔒 Privacy - Runs entirely in your browser - No tracking, no ads, no analytics, no external servers - Minimal permissions — it only runs on gemini.google.com - The timeline is built on your device from messages already on the page — nothing is stored or uploaded Source code: https://github.com/ThisIsSophieZ/ChronoNav Found a bug, or want something added? hi@thebrownielab.com — I read everything. ChronoNav is an independent extension from Brownie Lab. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or Gemini.
