EverCode is a private, local-first authenticator for TOTP and HOTP two-factor authentication codes. Keep the verification codes you use to sign in close at hand without giving up control of your vault. EverCode encrypts your local vault, works offline, and lets you copy a code only when you choose. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Generate TOTP one-time passwords and local HOTP codes. • Store codes in an encrypted local vault protected by your browser or device. • Find services quickly with search and favorites. • Add codes manually, paste an otpauth:// link, or scan a standard TOTP/HOTP QR code. • Copy verification codes explicitly, with a visible expiry timer. • Create an encrypted EverCode backup and restore it after authentication. • Use the local vault without an EverCode account or network connection. • Enable optional EverCode continuity sync when you want encrypted access on another device. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • Local-first use does not require an account. • Vault data is encrypted before it is stored locally. • Optional continuity sync is user-initiated and uses HTTPS. • EverCode does not collect browsing history, page content, cookies, form data, or passwords. • No ads, personalized tracking, or unrelated data sharing. • The extension does not silently submit codes or inject code into web pages.
