Clears leftover reply text when you open the next post on X. Unsent drafts on the same post are kept. Reply Draft Cleaner for X fixes a web composer bug: after you send a reply on x.com, opening the next post can still show the previous reply in the box. This extension watches the reply composer on x.com and twitter.com. When the target post changes, leftover text from the last reply is cleared in place by asking the site's own editor to reset, the same thing that happens when you delete everything by hand. The page is not reloaded and your reading position is not disturbed. If you are still writing on the same post and have not sent it, that draft is kept. It does not post, like, follow, scrape, or automate replies. It does not need an account with this extension. It does not collect data or send page content anywhere. How to use 1. Install the extension. 2. Refresh any open x.com tab. 3. Reply as usual. Opening another post starts from an empty reply box. The toolbar popup only explains what the extension does. There are no settings.
