Original mode opens first, and Guide / Games lets you choose any numbered slot without leaving the extension. The runtime and cartridge data are included, so normal play does not require an account or internet connection. Use the arrow keys to move, X for fire, V for the console Select switch, and Enter for Reset / Start. Restart begins the current slot again, while volume remains available inside the play area. Quick Pick is a separate local mini-game where you collect cartridge markers for a short score run.
