Filter tweets based on keywords or author's profile bio. All processing happens locally. Take back control of your social media algorithm! This 100% free extension is designed to help filter unwanted content on the Twitter/X social media platform. Bios or names that include words or phrases set to be blocked are reviewed and seamlessly removed, turning your algorithm into the place you wish it was. Additionally, you can add words to a blacklist for individual tweets, making unwanted spam (and annoying trends) a thing of the past. You can also add accounts to a whitelist from the options page, which can be accessed at any time by clicking the Bubble Shield Icon in the bottom right corner of the page. For your convenience, I have prepackaged 5 lists of words that often appear in the names or bios of potentially objectionable or offensive accounts, including NSFW, Crypto, far-right, and far-left accounts. These pre-existing lists can be further curated or added to by the user at will. While every attempt has been made to optimize the signal/noise ratio, please notify me of any significant false positives. Each word is an individual judgment call, which is why I have included the ability to tailor each list individually. Please note that these lists may or may not be reset to default setting by future updates, so it is a good idea to keep a backup somewhere! User created lists will persist between updates.
