Mock up display, HTML, and video ad creatives on live web pages for fast preview screenshots. Mock My Ad helps ad operations, media, creative, and quality assurance teams preview ad creatives directly on live web pages. The extension scans the active page for likely ad placements, highlights detected slots, and lets you place an uploaded creative into a selected placement. You can also manually select a placement when automatic detection misses it. Supported creative formats include PNG, JPG/JPEG, zipped HTML, MP4, and WebM, with a maximum file size of 25 MB. Key features: Detect and highlight likely display and video ad placements Manually select placements that are not automatically detected Upload or drag and drop image, HTML ZIP, and video creatives Display clear file-size and compatibility validation Inspect video dimensions, duration, and browser compatibility Warn about creative type and aspect-ratio mismatches Resize images to common programmatic ad formats Preview videos as visual overlays in likely player frames Download a screenshot of the visible page Open a prefilled issue-report email for review before sending Mock My Ad is intended for creative previews, mockups, and quality assurance. Placement detection is heuristic because websites structure and render advertising containers differently. Video previews are visual mockups. The extension does not create, intercept, or modify VAST, VPAID, SIMID, Google IMA, or player-specific advertising calls. Privacy: Uploaded creative files, page structure, page URLs, extension settings, and screenshots are processed locally in your browser. Mock My Ad does not automatically upload this information to a developer-controlled server. Uploaded HTML creatives may load external resources referenced within the creative when previewed. Screenshots are downloaded locally at the user’s request. Fit-mode and mock-label preferences are stored locally in Chrome. When you use the issue-report feature, Mock My Ad opens a prefilled draft in your email application. You can review or edit it before choosing whether to send it. The draft may contain your comments, page URL, selected-slot details, creative filename, rejection details, extension settings, browser user agent, and timestamps.
