Whether you’re taking notes from a lecture, saving a quote from an image, or extracting text from a screenshot, SelectSight helps you turn what you see into text you can use. HOW IT WORKS • Images: Hover over an image, wait for text recognition, then select and copy the words you need. • Paused videos: Pause on a useful frame and copy text from slides, tutorials, or presentations. • Screenshot regions: Use the screenshot tool to select part of the visible page, then review, edit, and copy the recognized text. WHY INSTALL SELECTSIGHT? • Save time: Capture useful text instead of typing it out by hand. • Stay focused: Copy directly from the page you’re viewing into your notes, documents, or messages. • Keep recognition local: OCR runs on your device. The recognition engine and models are included with the extension. OCR works offline when the source content is already available on your device. SelectSight is designed for text extraction. Results depend on image quality and layout, so review important text before using it. Some browser pages and video players restrict extension access.
