Alt-click any webpage image to save it as PNG, JPG, or WebP in your browser's default download location. Save the image you want without interrupting your flow. Hold Alt on Windows/Linux or Option on macOS and click any image on a webpage. Image Downloader saves it in your default format: PNG, JPG, or WebP. No converter, copied URL, or extra menu. Key features: - Alt + click on Windows/Linux and Option + click on macOS - Custom shortcut choices: Ctrl/Command, Shift, or Alt/Option + Shift - PNG, JPG, and WebP output - Adjustable quality for JPG and WebP - White background handling when transparent images are saved as JPG - Original filename, page-title, or timestamp naming - Saves through Chrome's standard download system to the download location configured in Chrome - No extension folder picker or recurring folder-permission prompt - Support for responsive images, CSS background images, data URLs, and blob URLs - Image context-menu fallback for sites where a keyboard shortcut is inconvenient - English interface by default, with Simplified Chinese available in the popup - Automatic conflict handling so an existing file is never silently overwritten Private by design: selected images are fetched and converted locally in your browser. There are no uploads, accounts, analytics, ads, trackers, or remote executable code. Some browser-internal pages and extension-store pages do not allow extensions to run. Local file pages require “Allow access to file URLs” in the extension details screen. Use Chrome's Downloads settings to change the save location or choose whether Chrome asks before each download. The extension does not request direct read/write access to a local folder.
