Prezly browser toolbox for contacts and future web research workflows Prezly Toolbox is a beta browser extension that provides useful tools for Prezly users. The first tool we're exploring is Contact Finder. It helps users discover potential contacts while browsing supported news articles, publisher pages, and selected profile pages. Contact Finder detects potential contacts using article bylines, author metadata, structured article data, visible email addresses, and selected profile pages. While the Toolbox is open and the user is logged in to Prezly, it scans the page the user is viewing and may load directly linked publisher, author profile, or contact detail pages when needed to enrich contact findings. Potential contacts are collected in the extension side panel, where they can be reviewed, removed, or saved. After saving, the contacts are opened in Prezly for review before they are created. Current beta focus: - Detect potential contacts from news article bylines - Read publisher and article context where available - Collect findings while the Toolbox is open and the user is logged in to Prezly - Support selected publisher and aggregator URLs - Support early profile page extraction - Remove unwanted findings - Save selected findings to Prezly for review - Exclude URLs from being reviewed
