Bring your own API key chat sidebar for mainstream large language models. BYOK Pro Chat is a Chrome sidebar assistant that lets users chat with mainstream large language models using their own API keys. Users can choose from providers such as OpenAI. Each provider can store its own API key, base URL, model selection, and custom model ID locally in the browser. The extension supports multilingual UI options, including English, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish, and French. Users can also set a default system prompt to personalize the assistant’s behavior. This extension is designed for users who want a lightweight, privacy-conscious AI chat sidebar. API requests are sent directly from the extension to the selected model provider. API keys and chat history are stored locally in Chrome storage and are not hosted by the extension developer.
