Unofficial helper for grok.com: queue prompts, batch image + image-to-video generation, and auto-download results. Grok Automate helps people who use grok.com/imagine heavily: queue prompts, walk away, and save generated images and videos into your Downloads folder, organised by date. This is an UNOFFICIAL third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by xAI Corp. or the Grok service. It only works while you are signed in to your own grok.com account in your own browser. PRICING & DATA • There is no payment, no card, and no subscription in this extension. • An optional account sign-in (via grokautomate.com) simply syncs your plan tier for higher automation limits. It never asks for payment. • Prompts, queue state and settings stay in Chrome local storage on your computer. WHAT IT DOES • Queue an unlimited list of prompts and submit them one by one on grok.com/imagine, with a configurable random delay between items. • Choose Image or Image-to-Video output, plus resolution, duration, aspect ratio and Quality/Speed mode per queue run. • Upload reference images once and pair them with multiple prompts (per-prompt / start-frame / all-images modes). • Auto-handle Grok's side-by-side "keep this image?" picker with your chosen action (Skip / Like Left / Like Right). • Download every generated image — Grok publishes up to 4 per prompt in quality mode and the extension saves them with numbered suffixes. • Organise downloads under a user-configurable folder (e.g. Downloads/GrokAutomation/2026-07-04/<prompt>.png). • Retry failed items automatically, and stop or retry a running queue at any time. PRIVACY • Prompts and queue metadata stay on your device in Chrome storage. • No advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, no crash trackers. • If you use the optional sign-in, your email is stored locally and used to look up your plan tier in Google Firestore. We never collect your Grok login, cookies, or any payment information. • Ordinary traffic still flows between your browser, grok.com, and Grok / xAI CDNs when you generate — the extension does not proxy that traffic through our servers. WHY THE YELLOW DEBUG BAR Grok's prompt box uses TipTap/ProseMirror; synthetic keyboard events from a normal content script are ignored. The extension uses the Chrome DevTools Protocol (`debugger` permission) to deliver trusted keystrokes and Enter so React state updates. Chrome shows "Grok Automate started debugging this browser" on grok.com tabs while an item runs; the debugger detaches between items. PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST • storage — queue, settings, cached account profile, daily counter. • downloads — save outputs via chrome.downloads. • tabs — locate the grok.com tab and refresh between items. • scripting — clear stale Grok client storage between queue items. • alarms — service worker heartbeat while queue runs; UTC midnight reset. • debugger — trusted input into Grok's editor (reason for yellow banner). • grok.com/*, grokautomate.com/* and www.grokautomate.com/* — the only origins the extension reads. The extension declares no broad <all_urls> access. NOT INCLUDED • Not a bypass of Grok rate limits, ToS, or paywalls. Grok/xAI limits on your grok.com account still apply (Grok Imagine itself requires a paid X Premium or SuperGrok plan as of 2026). SUPPORT https://grokautomate.com
